Moreover, he has a broad experience regarding proceedings for patents, trademarks, and designs on behalf of the State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI) and the Court of Appeal and other Court instances in the Republic of Moldova.

2004 – present

Licensed Trademark and Design Attorney – EU, Romania and Moldova

  • Helping client with their legal disputes for protecting their IP rights within AGEPI, OSIM and MD court of justice.
  • Report on IP publications from EU, Romania and Moldova.
  • Trademarks search through databases of EU, RO and MD.
  • Completed the assessment for International Property Rights Index (IPRI) USA.
  • Completed the assessment within project TWINNING (AGEPI).
  • Administering the applications in progress (results of the examinations, disputes and challenges).

1997 – 2004 

IP Consulting – AGEPI (State Agency of Intellectual Property in Moldova)

  • Consultancy offered to customers for protecting their IP rights for: trademarks, industrial designs, patents.
  • Helping define the IP asset and describe it in technical terms.
  • Classifying the IP assets following the international classification standards 
  • Document research in national and international databases of IP assets (trademarks, industrial designs and patents)
  • Creating and documenting the finding of the research and sharing with the customer
  • Organising and participating in seminars and conferences to promote IP protection, within AGEPI
