Trademark

The trademark is a verbal sign, logo of the product manufacturers or service providers, used for the products and/or services placed in the commercial circuit, national or international, to identify the manufacturers or service providers’ products and/or services.

The trademark may be presented by a word, phrase or slogan (word mark), by the image of an image (logo) or by their combination (combined mark). The trademark presented by the image can be the three-dimensional mark.

The trademark is protected territorially, i.e. in each country or union. Accordingly, a trademark application may be filed nationally, which provides registration in the territory of a country or union, or internationally by which simultaneous registration in several countries, which are party to the Madrid System under the Agreement or Protocol, may be requested.

Industrial Design

The industrial design / model is an object of industrial property, by which an image of a product, as an industrial design, or a product model is protected by the images of the external appearance, which are protected, as an industrial model.
The industrial design / model is an object of intellectual property, which enjoys the criterion of global novelty. For these reasons, the industrial design / model required for registration in a country or union will take precedence over other subsequent declarations.
The industrial design / model can be protected by a national application on a specific territory, country or union, or in several countries at the same time by submitting an international application in the territory of several countries, which are party to the Hague System.
